The first day of swim week for me started with four shows and an after party. I knew it was going to be hot but I never expected how hot! Since my night consisted of shows and an after party I wanted to make sure I was dressed appropriately for both while trying to beat the heat. I wore a black crop top and a high waisted lace skirt with heels. I took a small hand bag and wore my hair in a bun.
Miami Swim Week has been a bit different since IMG and Mercedes Benz no longer sponsor the event. It is now mainly divided between Funkshion and SwimMiami as well as self sponsored designers. Due to this there is a lot of back forth happening the whole week. (Thank God for Uber).
My first day was pretty good because I mainly stayed at the Funkshion Tent and near by hotels. (places I could walk to-in heels-)
