That time of year is coming again when Miami's White Party is hosted. In November of last year myself as well as other designers were honored to host a fashion show for this amazing event. The White Party is an event hosted to bring awareness about HIV/AIDS to our South Florida community. The event is a week long of parties and fundraisers that help raise money for Care Resource; a research company that develops treatments for HIV/AIDS. Every year different celebrities attend and, or perform to help attract people to the events to help raise funds. Unfortunately this is a serious issue for our community in Miami-Dade county since we are rank #1 in the nation, for having the highest number of new HIV/AIDS cases per capita in the United States.
