I had been dying to try this sneaker and a skirt trend. I was a bit skeptical since I am so petite (I'm 5'2) but I decided if I was going to do it I need to make sure I gave myself the illusion on length. I decided to wear a high-waisted pencil skirt. The fitted look helps my body type look longer, doing an A-line will add more volume… and with sneakers I would look stumpy. Just doing the pencil skirt doesn't give enough illusion of length so I paired it with a crop top. Having that pop of skin on my waist helps define the smallest part of my body and help add the illusion of length.
I actually really enjoyed this look. I felt sexy yet comfy, which I feel is everyone's ideal everyday goal, unless it's a special occasion I don't mind not being comfy as long as I look good ;)
