Miami Swim Week Day 1

Last Thursday was the first day of Miami Swim Week. If you followed me on snap chat this past week I am sure you saw how crazy my days were. My first day started with a Jergens and John Frieda Event. I learned about a bunch of skin and hair beauty tips which I just can't wait to share with you all in future posts :)

I also attended the Liliana Montoya show, which showcased colorful bold prints pair with body chains. I am happy to see the body chain trend is still going strong, and I can't wait to get in on the action. 

The last show I attended on thursday night was the Peroni Emerging Designers Show. This show gives a great opportunity for local designers to showcase two looks from their collections. It is a competition show and the winner receives a trip to New York Fashion Week as well as the opportunity to showcase their entire collection the next year. This year's winner was Luis Aponte, his looks consisted of black lace over colorful printed fabric. Mix and matching fabrics is Luis Aponte's signature look.
