Funkshion 2014

Last week in Miami there was an event called Funkshion, much like Miami's Fashion week Funkshion displays designers and their collections down the runway. This year they showcased two Miami business. I was very excited to say the least because I am a truly believe in growing the fashion industry in Miami.

So before I headed off for some runway fun I passed by Saks in Balhoubor because they were having a makeup session event. They showed us tips on how to take care of our skin and how to do some makeup looks. I had a great time and learned a lot. 

Right after I headed over to the Funkshion tent to see my good friend Nathalie Criado who was showcasing her collection "Kriado." As always she never ceases to amaze me. The collection was romantic yet edgy. The mix of lace and leather was done beautifully. 

The following night the collection that showed was Style Mafia. They are a company that has really taken over Miami and slowly over the US. Their looks were all modern and risky yet completely sophisticated. I must say this years Funkshion was a success.
