Beauty Sleep Tips

When you are a true fashion enthusiast you want to dress chic at all times. Even at bed time. My friends and family always tease me because I like to dress nice for bed. Most people just throw anything on at bedtime, because they want to feel comfortable. Here is a secret... you can look great and feel great. The key is to look for items based on fit and feel. My favorite PJ's are a t-shirt and sweatpants from Lou & Grey. It is a clothing store that specifically sells lounge wear. They make their clothes comfortable to lounge at home but fashionable to step outside to do a few errands if you need to. 

Now we all know beauty sleep is not just fashion tips but so much more. To get your full beauty sleep you need to make sure you get enough rest. That changes for each person from 6-8 hours a night. Now here are some tips on how to maximize your sleep. 

1. Make sure you have a comfortable mattress. So many people don't realize how important it is to have  a good mattress. If your bed is more than 8 years old it's time to change it! Check out Casper mattresses to see what too look for in a good mattress. 

2. Wash your face. Whether or not you wore makeup our face comes in contact with germs throughout the day. Going to bed with a fresh face helps over time to help prevent rapid aging and wrinkles. 

3. Last but not least do something that relaxes you before bed. It helps keep your mind at rest. That may  be reading a book, listening to music or checking your social media (guilty).
