Finally I have a chance to post! I have been SO busy it's been crazy. I have been wanting to share with you my first facial experience.
I got my first facial about two months ago at Dior in Bal Harbour. Once I was in my robe laying down with the bright white light over my face I was ready to hear all the feed back on my skin...I was a bit scared because I only recently started my skin care routine. I thought Liska (the esthetician) would tell me what have you been doing!? To my surprise my skin wasn't as bad as I thought, she did tell me I had some discoloration which had to do with sun damage, which makes total sense because for many years as a child I lived on the beach and in the ocean and never worried about putting sun screen on.
After an evaluation of my skin the facial started.
Step 1:
Cleanse Face: I walked in with a "clean face" or so I thought. She cleaned my face with Dior's Prestige La Mousse [which is made from white roses, which Dior grows in their rose garden in France!] and she still was able to capture dirt and makeup...I was a bit embarrassed.
Step 2:
Detox: After actually having a clean face she used Dior's One Essential Serum. Then she walked me through what my daily routine should look like.
Step 3:
Cleanse Face: She then cleanse my face again.
Step 4:
Toner: After cleaning my face she used Dior's Purifying Toning Lotion. This detox goes into the cell and removes 100% of the toxins in the cell. The toner helps even out the different tones in your skin.
Step 5:
Serum: After using the toner she used Dior's Prestige White Serum.
Step 6:
Moisturizer: The last step is the moisturizer, Dior's Prestige La Creme. After you have moisturized you are ready to put on your makeup.
It was a great experience! I learned a lot about my own skin and how to really care for my skin daily. I left there realizing my routine was lacking a toner and it was time to get one, and I am loving my Dior purifying toning lotion which believe it or not it's pretty affordable $36! I know it seems like a lot of steps but this really takes less than 5 mins in the morning.
xoxo,
