This post is SO LATE... but better late than never...right?! Well my favorite thing about this entire outfit is my hat. I got this hat back in January at a conference I went to called Encounter. The theme of the conference was the Future is Now. As part of the merch they were selling was this hat with the rose. During one of the sermons the pastor preaching explained why they choose the rose. The rose is the most beautiful once it has bloomed. Before the rose opens it's just a little bud, once the rose begins to die it looses it's color and the petals begin to fall. The rose is known for it's blooming stage, yet the life span of that stage isn't very long but it is beautiful. We can't sit around waiting for the future or hoping for it we need to realize right now, whatever our lives look like right now this is our future and we need to embrace the beauty of it. I'm working on a lot of new things and I am really excited to embrace this. Not just professionally but also in my personal life. I am a type A personality who always plans ahead and has a plan for my plan and that is great but I'm starting to make moves and live my future right now. Every single day.
