This year Art Basel
was crazy busy for me. I spent the week styling top VIP clients for all the
Basel Events. I worked along side of Armarium a luxury rental company. Think of
rent the runway but with Mugler, Pucci and Marchesa to name a few. It was
amazing! I got to work at a beautiful penthouse on South Beach with a great
view of the ocean. I also was able to
see the beautiful art. This year the convention center was under construction,
so it was interesting to get around to say the least but the art inside lived
up to the expectation. Since work was non-stop I only went out to one party all
week during Art Basel.
I choose to go to the
Basel House party in Wynwood. Sprint was hosting a launch party for graffiti
artist Ruben Ubeira. It was such a fun night. They had a graffiti station where
you could learn how to tag graffiti. I tried… but I wasn’t too good, there is a
technique to it. They also had yummy food and ice cream. I actually tried a
vegan ice cream from this small local shop called Sweet Melody Ice Cream. It
honestly was the best vegan ice cream I have ever had. Sprint truly does live
up to their mission of connecting their customers to things they care about the
most. I recapped my Art Basel week on Instagram if you want to see more!
