Widescreen Film & Music Video Festival

On Sunday I was able to attend the Widescreen Film & Music Video Festival. For those of you who don't know the festival was create to help talented people who want to produce, act or direct films but don't have the opportunities to have the exposure in Hollywood. People submit their films and works and the best works are selected and debuted on the big screen at Aventura's AMC movie theater. Anyone can purchase tickets for the movies and enjoy everything local artist have to offer.

I had the opportunity to experience the red carpet and all the fashion of the day. I was excited to see the choices people wore to a day time red carpet affair. There was a wide variety of long and short dress, from dark neutrals to bright summer colors. The men looked great in their suiting, although black and grey are always the basics there were some fashionable men sporting some spring pastel colors. 

I choose to wear a short cocktail dress with a delicate lace detail in a soft white/gray color. I felt it was a great dress for an 11am event yet elegant enough to stand on a red carpet.
